I was pleased to bring Michele to Los Angeles for the opening of Exhibition 2000 -- his work represents very well the highest levels of Cremonese violinmaking. Curriculum Vitae: Born in Vicenza (1967) at very young age he starts to get into classical music and studying fine arts at school. In 1990 he gets his high degree at the Civica Scuola di Liuteria di Milano under the supervision of teachers such as L.Primon and G.Negri. With the precious collaboration of some musicians he gets know better the forms and models of the more important violin-makers that had lived in Milan in the early 20th century, such as G.Ornati and F.Garimberti. In the 1995 he moves over to Madrid (Spain) to complete his studying in restoration and the strings instrument set up, at Maestro J.M.Lozano's laboratory. He has been taking part at many national and international competitions, always receiving honour's mentions for his well done work. Nowadays he lives and works in Cremona, where he makes and restores the instrument of the classic quartet. (C.V. provided by the maker).
